cause I’m a snowfall kind of girl…

i have always adored ingrid michaelson & her amazing songs… they always seem to speak to my soul. when i came upon this sweet song a few weeks ago my heart fluttered with joy–it captures everything i have been feeling lately.
here are the beautiful lyrics:
& here’s a link to the song. : )

I want a snowfall kind of love
The kind of love that quiets the world
I want a snowfall kind of love
Cause I’m a snowfall kind of girl

I want a snowfall kind of love
That lights up the sky from below
I want a snowfall kind of love
That brings people to their window

Won’t you bury me in your quiet love?
Oh bury me in your quiet love
Oh bury me in your quiet love
And we will blow away

I want a snowfall kind of love
The kind of love that keeps you in bed all day
Oh I want to look through with you
And watch it all melt away

Won’t you bury me in your quiet love?
Oh bury me in your quiet love
Oh bury me in your quiet love
And we will blow away

le sigh.

dearest darlings,
i hope your week has been absolutely magical–& full of lots of Christmas love & joy!
as i had mentioned in my last post, we have been snowed in the past few days, causing our family Christmas to be postponed by a few days…so today we are celebrating, alas, with my nieces and nephews and my siblings!…so i will not have time to do sunday sweets this week, but don’t worry, i have extra exciting stuff to post this week to make up for it. ; )

Have a very happy Sunday my dears!

A Snowy Christmas Eve.

i am snuggled up in my house, watching movies, keeping warm while outside ice sheets continue to cover the ground, along with our house. Our back door is a solid sheet of ice! As much as i love white Christmas’s, this weather is a bit crazy… we are stuck in Lawrence until the storm passes and we can safely drive to Kansas City to visit our loving family.

I hope you are all having
a wonderful Christmas Eve!
(& are keeping safe!)

with Love to all.
